Vana rolls out a new app with user data permissions and movement logs

Decentralized data network Vana said on X that it has launched a new version of its app. The product sits behind the apps a user is already using. When another application requests data, the user can see what is being requested and decide whether to grant permission. If the user agrees, the data moves according to the approved permissions, and the transfer process is recorded. The update centers on user visibility over data requests and a record of how data moves once access is granted, based on Vana’s own description of the app.
